Adrián Ogando, the man murdered in the middle of the road in Spain who leaves 4 children orphaned
Adrián Ogando, a man of Dominican descent and about 40 years old, was murdered after receiving several stab wounds. It happened in the industrial area of Landazábal de Villava last Sunday. Adrián was also known as ‘Gualey,’ a name that corresponds to the neighborhood in the capital city of Santo Domingo where he was from.
‘Gualey’ had resided in Navarre since he arrived from the Dominican Republic more than two decades ago. The man received several stab wounds in parts such as his neck, face, and chest. He allegedly had an argument before the crime with his attacker, who fled the scene.
According to witnesses who were in the area, the killer left in a white car with blood-stained clothes. The Provincial Police forwarded this information to the rest of law enforcement to facilitate the search and capture of the alleged murderer. The case is currently under summary secrecy, as ruled by Pamplona Investigative Court Number 4 .
The alleged perpetrator is also of Dominican descent, is younger than the victim, and resides in Navarre. Police headquarters also plan to examine video surveillance cameras from businesses, ships, and stores in the area to find out what happened and what triggered the events. It also investigates whether the two might have started an argument at a nearby nightclub.
The police arrived very quickly, but not in time to arrest the culprit
The murder took place in the parking lot outside the Hotel Villava. His staff was the one who informed the police around 6:45 a.m. that a fight was in progress. It took the officers barely a minute to arrive at the scene because they were on watch near the location.
The victim left the nightclub with a woman and they went to the parking lot. She was instrumental in describing the killer’s identity and how he fled the crime scene. For a few moments the Police did not come across the attacker fleeing in his car.
