Mafia boss Matteo Messina Denaro was arrested by the carabinieri of the Special Operations Grouping after 30 years on the run. The investigation that led to the capture of the Castelvetrano (Trapani) mafia boss was coordinated by Palermo Prosecutor Maurizio de Lucia and Assistant Prosecutor Paolo Guido. Matteo Messina Denaro, also known as Diabolik, is an Italian mafia boss, considered one of the heads of the Sicilian Cosa Nostra mafia family.
